hSo Celebrating 20 Years of Service

HighSpeed Office Ltd (or hSo as we are better known) reaches a major milestone in 2021, as it marks our 20-year anniversary. 20 years is a long time to be in business and we have continuously focused on growing our network and expanding our service offerings. Since our founding in 2000, our staff numbers have grown, requiring a move to larger offices (located in the tech heart of London) and our longer standing customers will remember that our logo has evolved with us.  From the start, hSo’s mission was, and still is, to continue to develop and implement best-of-breed cloud, network and security services by focusing on the provision of secure and flexible connectivity and collaboration platforms.

Our funding, raised in 2001, was applied in developing a communications network to service customers in multi-tenant properties.  Our initial services covered integrated communications including voice, video, internet, and data solutions. June 2001, hSo launched the first in a range of high-speed telecoms services to business customers in multi-tenant buildings, shortly thereafter also extending its services to customers in Greater London and the Thames Valley.  Today, hSo serves customers across the United Kingdom including enterprise and public sector organisations.

Our services have over the years developed in harmony with advances in technology. We have developed and enhanced services, particularly in Cloud Compute and Security in response to market trends with the acceleration of a shift to cloud-based computing, particularly in the enterprise market.

hSo has gained several Central and Local Government customers as well as Health and Blue Light customers and is therefore during the Covid-19 pandemic is considered critical and several key staff are designated, key workers. This has enabled hSo to continue provisioning and supporting services, when and where, permitted throughout the pandemic and lockdown periods.

As we commence our 20^th year of trading, we look forward to a further 20 years helping our customers and look forward to welcoming many more customers into the hSo family. We will also continue to respond to challenges our customers face and re-focus our service portfolios and operations to enable our customers to focus on driving their businesses forwards. Today we are focusing on the provision of secure, flexible connectivity and collaboration platforms to support working from anywhere, around the three pillars of Cloud Services, Managed Networks and IT Security.

Finally, we are also planning a series of 20th-anniversary celebration events and we look forward to sharing them with our customers.  We hope to share more of the memories we have gathered along the way during our 20^th year.
