CAS(T) Certification recognises excellence in telecommunications for the Public Sector for Managed Services Provider hSo
We are pleased to announce that we've achieved the UK Government’s CAS(T) certification for its telecommunication services. Certified by NCC Group and GCHQ’s National Cyber Security Centre to the CAS(T) UK Government standard for telecommunications companies, hSo provides end-to-end secure connectivity services to UK public sector organisations, connecting between government sites and to cloud/internet services.
CAS(T) - CESG Assurance Scheme (Telecoms), provides assurance to customers that a network is built, operated and managed to the required level for it to be used to handle the confidentiality and integrity of public sector data.
Reducing the concern of potential physical or cyber-related threats is a major improvement driver for organisations in both the public and private sectors. In gaining this certification, hSo assures customers in the public and private sectors that its connectivity services meet the rigorous requirements set out by the CAS(T) standards.
To obtain CAS(T) certification, hSo had to go through a stringent independent assessment which involved a detailed analysis of hSo’s network design and ultimately submitted to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) for approval.
Chris Evans, Managing Director at hSo says:
“We are thrilled to have achieved the CAS(T) certification. We are able to confidently provide secure networks to our customers and Government bodies, ensuring data is safe and protected against threats. We pride ourselves in offering our private and public sector customers a safe and trustworthy connection.
The certification further enhances our commitment to working with the public sector to achieve the UK’s Digital Strategy initiative.”
