More bandwidth for your buck
Leased line comparison tool reveals the state of the market
As you may know, hSo has a sister site hSo:compare which – taking each user’s unique requirements such as bandwidth and location – works out the most suitable solution based on available local fibre providers and price. As well as its ‘day job’ of generating instant quotes, hSo:compare is a useful source for assessing the state of the market. So, what can we learn from the year just gone?
hSo:compare produced no fewer than 125,000 quotes in 2014, for which it selected a broad spread of local fibre providers. In fact, it selected no single national operator for more than 30% of the locations, highlighting the effectiveness of carrier independence in providing optimal coverage and price.
"What other stats did it conjure up?" we hear you ask. Well, the average cost of a leased line was virtually unchanged from 2013, while average bandwidth increased by 40% from 50Mb to 70Mb. In other words, customers benefited from getting more for the same.
hSo:compare retrieves instant price and availability information from all national carriers to find the best option(s) for your office(s). Try it for yourself now.
