hSo acquires Goscomb Technologies Limited
Expanding footprint, international network services and boosting wholesale presence
hSo (trading as HighSpeed Office Limited), the leading provider of UK managed IT and Cloud services, announces the acquisition of the entire share capital of Goscomb Technologies Limited (“Goscomb”), a network and hosting specialist, for an undisclosed sum.
Goscomb, with network and hosting services across 16 data centres in the UK, North America and Europe, will allow hSo to expand the roll-out of private and public cloud services to UK and International enterprises and the channel. The Goscomb customer base brings critical mass to hSo’s wholesale proposition as well as significant enterprise customers.

“The increased data centre footprint and international reach, coupled with hSo’s whole of market on line tool hSo:compare, makes the combined hSo and Goscomb a natural choice for UK and international organisations looking for high capacity bandwidth and robust private network Cloud services.”
Goscomb has experienced rapid organic growth since formation in 2006. Its customers will also benefit from hSo’s ISO accredited systems and processes as well as a UK based 24/7 service desk. Daniel Goscomb, a recognised industry expert, joins hSo as Engineering Director and will help drive the integration of the business whilst delivering increased wholesale revenues. Chris Evans added:

The acquisition was funded from existing cash resources, the issue of loan notes and issue of equity.
